CURRENT LAB MEMBERS
Kimberly Linetsky
Kim is a doctoral student in the Educational Psychology program at UA. She is interested in how children form beliefs about their world. She is currently working on the “free will” project, exploring children’s beliefs about the kinds of things they can control in others, and the “natural events” project, exploring how children explain the natural events that occur in the world (e.g., like floods or flowers blooming).

Nghi (Sherry) Nguyen
Sherry is a doctoral student in the Educational Psychology program at UA. She is interested selective social learning in children and residential mobility. She is currently working on the “media richness” project, exploring how much children trust video versus audio interactions, and the “repetition effect” project, exploring whether a source who repeats misinformation becomes more believable.

Liz Robinson
Liz is an incoming doctoral student in the Educational Psychology program at UA. She is interested in screens and children’s exposure to digital media.

Adleigh Faulkenburg
Adleigh is in the accelerated master’s program in Human Development at UA. She is interested in how parents pass information to their children. Her research project is focused on children’s financial beliefs and behaviors.

Angel Reed
Angel is a student majoring in HDFS. They is currently working on the media richness project, exploring how much children trust video versus audio interactions.

Katie Birmingham
Katie is a Nursing major. She is working on the “money talks” project exploring how children’s’ beliefs about money are influenced by their parents.

Annaleigh Eason
Angel is a Biology major. She is currently working on the “repetition effect” project, exploring how repeated misinformation might becomes more believable over time.

Janey Watson
Janey is an HDFS and a Math major. She is working on the “money talks” project exploring how children’s’ beliefs about money are influenced by their parents.

Clara Smith
Clara is a Psychology major. She is currently working on the “digital media” project, exploring how exposure to digital media affects children’s executive function.
