TEDxTalk: Getting Older Should Not Mean Losing Control
One of Nicole’s projects involved interviewing older adults with chronic conditions and geriatric case managers to learn more about how older adults make decisions about their health and manage their health care. In this TEDx talk, Nicole talks about what they learned from the project and how older adults feel about maintaining independence and decision making as they age. Her talk has more than 44,000 views and is used by many educators teaching gerontology courses.
