We develop modular catalysts for electrosynthesis, with a focus on converting abundant small molecules into valuable organic compounds, from petrochemicals to essential biomolecules. Toward more rational catalyst design, we investigate the real-time dynamics of catalysts and their interactions with supports across multiple scales and dimensions with advanced in-situ imaging techniques.
