[2024-05-30] Dr. Ye was invited to attend “In-Person Workshop: Understanding Potential EV Charging Behavior and Infrastructure” from 05/29 to 05/30 in the University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK) supported by the UTK, Sandia National Laboratories, U.S. Department of Energy, and National Nuclear Security Administration. Dr. Ye presented in the workshop “A Perspective on the Impact of EV Adoption on Buildings at Different Geographic Scales.”
5. [2024-05-23] Dr. Ye attended the IBPSA-USA SimBuild 2024 Conference in Denver, CO, from 05/21 – 05/23. As a scientific committee member, Dr. Ye chaired two sessions (“Technical Session 3: Modeling for Carbon and Embodied Energy” and “Session Pitches”) and made two presentations (“Method to Create Prototypical Building Energy Models based on CBECS Data” and “Developing a Novel Modeling Framework for Residential Home’s Occupant Behaviors in Support of Building-to-Grid Integration Research”) in the conference. In addition, he received the IBPSA-USA 2024 Emerging Contributor Award at the conference.
