Dr. William Evans is an expert in natural and social-scientific perspectives on how and why people enjoy and share film, television, and emerging media content. An interdisciplinary scholar, his research on media has been published in leading journals in mass communication and in fields as diverse as public health, science communication, geology, linguistics, evolution studies, humanities computing, and traffic engineering. He serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Science Communication.
