Our lab employs a variety of research methodologies, including quantitative analysis, structural equation modeling, and systematic reviews. We are committed to producing high-quality research that contributes to the development of evidence-based interventions and policies in the field of behavioral addictions.

Gambling
- Exploring the psychological characteristics of problem gambling
- Investigating the relationship between gambling and financial trading
- Examining the role of personality traits, such as greed and fear of missing out, in gambling behaviors
- Developing responsible gambling practices and interventions
Gaming
- Analyzing the convergence of video gaming and gambling
- Investigating problematic gaming behaviors and their impact on mental health
- Exploring the relationship between gaming motivations and addictive tendencies
- Studying the potential protective factors against problematic gaming
Addiction and health issue
- Applying Self-Determination Theory to understand various addictive behaviors
- Investigating the role of basic psychological needs in the development and maintenance of addictions
- Examining the relationship between addictive behaviors and mental health outcomes
- Studying the process in addiction recovery
- Exploring the impact of social factors, such as stigma and interpersonal relationships, on addiction and recovery processes
