Course Description

The second course of the sequence , CS492, furthers the computing knowledge gained from CS104 and provides guidance on what to expect in an AP CSP classroom. A focus is given to diversity and equity in the classroom as well as what it takes to ensure accessibility for all. In addition to these topics, students are given opportunities to take practice AP tests, discuss relevant CS topics, shadow high school CS teachers in their classrooms, and dissect the curriculum standards from College Board (as well as the state of Alabama).
