Hyemin Han, PhD

Dr. Hyemin Han is an Associate Professor in Educational Psychology and Neuroscience and Educational Psychology MA/PhD Program Coordinator at the University of Alabama. He is conducting research projects focusing on the neural-level nature of social, emotional, and motivational processes in educational settings, such as moral development, growth mindset, and social adjustment in school, by utilizing interdisciplinary research methods including neuroimaging, psychological intervention, and computer simulation methods.

Research interests: Yi Chen holds a PhD in Educational Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Alabama. She is now working on her dissertation project “how does chronic stress influence moral dilemma judgment?”. Besides moral judgment and chronic stress, her research interests also include neuroscience in all aspects and the fundamental theoretical framework of cognitive neuroscience.
