UA’s nmrlab is using the Faces reservation system. The website is https//faces.ccrc.uga.edu To login as a user, enter the group name “UA_NMR”. Next enter your login name—all login names are your email account without the @ crimson.ua.edu or the @ua.edu, for example my email is kbelmore@ua.edu my login is kbelmore Lastly enter your password and hit go. You’re in! choose your instrument–right now this is for all the nmrs (AV-500, the NEO-500 and the AV-360). The schedule should come up-currently 8am-5pm comes up, hit the 24 to see  the whole day. If you want  to use the Topspin software you can obtain a free copy from Bruker. You must register, create a user login and password, then login and download a copy of the Topspin processing software( pc,mac and linux)
NUTS is distributed by Acorn NMR and is another processing package.

Getting Started

In order to use the departmental nmrs you have to pass a test on the following powerpoint presentation: a basic tutorial to using ICON NMR
This will give you an automated way to use the nmrs without knowing how to lock, shim, collect and process data. As you progress you’ll likely
learn how to use the main Topspin software to do some or all of these things. So download the ICON NMR powerpoint presentation, study it
and then make an appointment with the nmr lab manager to take the test.
