Welcome!

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at The University of Alabama and currently the Director of Undergraduate Studies. I joined the department in 2022. Prior to my position at UA, I was a faculty member in the Department of Sociology at Louisiana State University for eight years (2014-2022). I graduated with my Ph.D. in Criminology, Law & Society at the University of California, Irvine  (UCI) in 2014.
