Sagar Dasgupta, Ph.D.

Sagar Dasgupta is a Postdoctoral Fellow at CAM Lab at the University of Alabama. Sagar Dasgupta received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL, USA. His research interests include GNSS-based positioning and navigation security, cyber-physical system security, transportation digital twin, and intelligent transportation system.  He received B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj, UP, India, M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, Clemson, SC, USA.

Ph.D. Student

Muhammad Sami Irfan is a Ph.D. student at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He received his B.Sc.Engg in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Islamic University of Technology, Gazipur, Bangladesh. He obtained his MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration under the University of Dhaka. His research interests include cybersecurity, machine learning and connected and automated vehicles.


Minhaj Uddin Ahmad
Ph.D. Student

Minhaj Uddin Ahmad is a Ph.D. student at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh in 2023. He worked at Spectrum Engineering Consortium Ltd. as an R&D Engineer after graduation. His research interests include embedded systems, sensor fusion, autonomous systems. He shares fondness for computer-history and HAM radio.


Akid Abrar
Ph.D. Student

Akid Abrar is a Ph.D. student at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He received his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh in 2022. He worked at CNS Limited, as a Software Engineer after his graduation. His research interest includes cyber-security, deep learning and connected and automated transportation.


Suhala Rabab Saba

Suhala Rabab Saba is a Ph.D. student at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She received her B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh in 2022. Her research interest includes hardware-security, sensor fusion and connected and automated vehicle.

Craig Knudson
Undergraduate Student

Craig Knudson is an undergraduate student at the University of Alabama (UA), Tuscaloosa, AL. He will graduate in May 2028 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in cybersecurity through the University Honors Program at UA. His interests include transportation cybersecurity in autonomous vehicles and infrastructure.

Courtland Hollis  is currently a State Civil Engineer II in the Georgia Department of Transportation, GA. He was an Undergraduate student at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He will receive his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama in December 2022 . His research interest includes urban planning, traffic operations, traffic safety, and roadway design.
