
Brief Bio
Dr. Lina Pu is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Alabama (UA). Before joining UA, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2015. She was a Postdoc in the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology before joining USM. Her current research areas include cybersecurity, network security, wireless and underwater networking, sustainable IoT, terrestrial/underwater edge computing, and deep learning-enabled wireless networking.
