Course description: A survey of the myriad of personal risks facing consumers and families throughout the lifecycle. An emphasis is placed on the fundamentals of risk management. Includes a comprehensive study of insurance products.
CSM 454/554 Personal Income Tax Management Planning
Course description: This course presents a comprehensive, clear and concise explanation of the techniques involved in personal income tax planning. At the completion of the course the student should completely understand personal income tax rules and planning strategies.
CSM 460/560 Personal Finance Planning Course Technique (Capstone)
Course description: A system approach to financial management for individuals and families from the perspective of planner/counselor. Focuses on analytical techniques. Emphasizes identification and development of strategies for meeting client goals.
