The Davami Research Group is celebrating the graduation of PhD student Cory Otto. His dissertation was titled Enhanced Laser Micromaching of Tubular Ni-Ti Alloys: Unraveling Reactive Assist Gas Effects on Melt Flow Dynamics and Microstructural Damage During Nitinol Processing. Dr. Otto will be continuing with the group as a postdoctoral researcher.
