Mrs. Kim A. Boyle


Kimberly Anderson Boyle, from Tuscaloosa, Alabama has been teaching at The University of Alabama for the past 19 years in Restaurant, Hotel and Meetings Management. After graduating from UA with her bachelor’s and master’s in hospitality in 1996, she moved to the DC area where she worked in sales and marketing at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Shortly thereafter she moved back to Tuscaloosa to begin her dream job on teaching and advising college students. Kim has received prestigious teaching awards during her career that include 2012 Forty for the Future by the Southeast Tourism Society, the 2010 “Joseph Rowland Teaching Excellence Award” by the College of Human Environmental Sciences and the 2005 “Educator of the Year” Award by the Alabama Hospitality Association and Alabama Restaurant Association. She lives in Tuscaloosa with her husband, Chris, and daughter, Avery.
