Summer Academy 2024

Our 2024 residential Summer Camp for students was held at The University of Alabama from June 10th to June 14th. The week long summer camp included interactions with nursing professionals, tutelage from student mentors, and instruction from some of the institutions finest professors. Students also took part in simulation labs, seminars, and workshops centered around STEM subjects. Participant meals, materials, and residential fees are paid in full by the SEPA grant.

Students must meet 1 or more of the following criteria to be considered for admission into the program: Be a member of a minority population, come from a low income household, be a first generation college student, or be a resident of rural Alabama.
