The Everyday Quality project is a joint effort between researchers at the University of Alabama and the University of Delaware, Alabama Department of Human Resources, and the Alabama Quality STARS program to create a new rating system for family child care settings that can accurately assess their unique strengths.

Building Data and Research Capacity to Improve Child Care Access in Alabama

The Building Data and Research Capacity to Improve Child Care Access in Alabama project is a partnership between the University of Alabama and the Alabama Department of Human Resources (ADHR) which aims to strengthen Alabama’s capacity to use data and research to improve child care and early education (CCEE) policies and
practices. This project is funded through the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation at the
Administration of Children and Families within Health and Human Services. Alabama was one of five states awarded this competitive grant.
