Omid Reyhanigalangashi
Omid is a Ph.D. candidate who joined the Remote Sensing Center in the Fall 2019 semester. His research focuses on developing digital systems for miniaturized sUAS-based radars.
Besides research activities, he enjoys providing service to the University of Alabama. He served as a student senator in Graduate Students Association in 2022-2023. He is also the president of the UA International Students Association since 2022.

Syed Murtaza Rizvi
Murtaza is a Ph.D. student who joined the Remote Sensing Center in Spring 2024, working on radar signal processing using ultra-wideband (UWB) technologies.
Before joining RSC, he focused on underwater networking and communication, developing efficient routing and MAC protocols for swarm collaboration. Outside of work, he enjoys riding his motorbike, swimming, and playing chess.

| Allain Rapadas Allain joined the RSC and served as an undergraduate research assistant before graduating with his B.S. in Computer Engineering in 2023. He is now pursuing a M.S. in Electrical Engineering.Allain’s research with the RSC focuses on radar signal processing and high-speed digital systems. He is a recipient of NASA’s FINESST grant to conduct the development of a digital radar system capable of high-resolution measurements for agricultural applications. |
