Emily Davis

Mrs. Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from The University of Montevallo, Alabama. During her time as an undergraduate, she participated in undergraduate research focusing on the magnetic properties of metal coordination polymers. Emily graduated with a 4.00 GPA and received the Senior Elite Chemistry Award. Proceeding graduation, she worked at Scott Ritchey Research Center at Auburn University as a research assistant exploring the regenerative effects of platelet lysate and effects of stem cell extracellular vesicles on neuroinflammation. Her expertise includes cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and data analysis. She joined the Kumar lab in June 2024 as the Research Project Coordinator.
