Melaina Munson

Melaina Munson is a sophomore at the University of Alabama pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry. She is a member of the Randall Research Scholars Program and a McCollough Scholar. Munson joined the DREAM Lab in August of 2025, where she is focusing on polymer formulation and their application to improve the solubility and bioavailability of cancer treatments. After graduating, she intends to attend medical school where she hopes to become an Emergency Medicine Physician.
