Mrs. Courtney McGahey


Education
Courtney Laney McGahey holds a Masters of Science with a focus on Advertising and Consumer Affairs from The University of Alabama.  Her Undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education.

Teaching Experience
Mrs. McGahey is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Consumer Sciences (http://www.csm.ches.ua.edu/), in the College of Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Alabama.  She currently teaches:  CSM 201: Individuals and Families Resource Management; CSM 441: Consumer Communication; CSM 381 Consumer Marketing Management and CSM 390: Field Experience.  In the past she has taught: CSM 415: Customer Service Management; CSM 445: Microcomputers in Consumer Science; CSM 301: Characteristics of a Good Leader; and CSM 490/491/492: Independent Study. 

Professional Experience
Mrs. McGahey worked in Advertising in Houston, Texas. Her responsibilities included:
