Low-Dimensional Contact Geometry
John Etnyre and I are writing a book on contact geometry of 3-manifolds. The book focuses extensively on convex surface theory and its implications– various classification results for tight contact structures and Legendrian/transverse knots– as well as some related topics. The book broken into two parts. At the link below you can access a draft (Version 0.1) of the book which contains most of Part 1. We welcome and greatly appreciate any input from readers, including questions, comments, suggestions, and even just typo corrections.
