Hello! My name is Matthew Pappalardo and I’m a second-year graduate student in biocultural anthropology studying the intersection of food insecurity and food allergies. I currently work with Woodland Forrest Elementary School, which is local to Tuscaloosa. At the school, I interview students and their caregivers about their experiences as people who have food allergies or have to take care of somebody with food allergies​.
