Kylie Overton is a sophomore double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Environmental Science at the University of Alabama. She also works in Dr. Elliott’s Water Research Group which studies the intersection of wastewater management and human health. She is interested in studying the interactions between the environment and communities’ health and wellbeing. She is excited to work on the Foodscapes Project within APPL and learn more about how archeological techniques can inform how we analyze food insecurity. ​
