PADD Advisory Council Application

ADAP advocates for the civil rights of persons with developmental disabilities (DD) through our PADD program. PADD stands for Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

Our PADD program has an Advisory Council that provides us advice about issues important to persons with DD in Alabama so that we better understand how to focus our work.
The Council meets at least three times per year, some of our meetings are held virtually and some are in-person, typically in the greater Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, and Birmingham areas. Meeting dates are identified before the start of each year. Members are reimbursed for their travel expenses to meetings.

If you want to be on ADAP’s PADD Advisory Council, please fill out this application. We strongly encourage applications from persons who have DD or their family members.

If you have questions about this application or need help filling it out, contact ADAP at (205) 348-4928.
